The difference between a good guitar sound and a world-class tone often lies hidden beneath the pickguard. Anyone searching for the perfect sound knows this: electronics are no place for compromise. This kit is more than just a set of replacement parts—it’s a precisely tuned, high-end modification. We’ve selected the components exactly as experienced guitar techs and pros do for their own instruments, to coax maximum dynamics, clarity, and that coveted “sparkle” out of every HSS Strat.
The technology behind the pro sound:
With conventional HSS circuits, you often have to make a choice: an optimized Humbucker makes the single-coils sound too sharp, or optimized single-coils make the Humbucker sound muddy. We put an end to this compromise.
- Maximum Headroom & Sparkle (Custom CTS 550k & 275k): Standard pots often have high downward tolerances, which eat into the highs. We rely on selected custom CTS 550k and 275k potentiometers. These values ensure that the signal path remains open and the finest nuances of your playing are conveyed. Nothing gets lost.
- Intelligent Routing (Super Switch):

The Humbucker operates at 550k volume and tone values for full power and brilliance.

Thanks to the 5-way Super Switch and two precise 470k resistors, the wiring is automatically adjusted in the single-coil positions. The single-coils thus “see” the perfect ~275k resistance for them.

- Auto-Split: Position 2 automatically delivers the split Humbucker in combination with the middle pickup for those crisp, funky in-between tones you expect from a Strat.
The result is an instrument that sounds perfectly balanced in all five positions.

Not satisfied with a standard item (in-stock item)? No problem. We accept returns for eligible items within 30 days of delivery. Please ensure that the items are unused and in their original packaging. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
